Please join us! The weather should be cooler. This is the back part of the ranch, rarely seen or ridden. Lots of ups and downs, boots or shoes are recommended.
This is mounted only, no wagons. We will ride the back of the ranch with plenty of hills and valleys. We'll camp at a barn, in the interior of the ranch. There is a small residence that can be rented for the weekend. Camping is primitive, no water or electic hookups, but generators are allowed. 6,000+ acre ranch, and is between Dripping Springs and Wimberly off Ranch Road 12.
Stew Friday evening, pot luck on Saturday evening. Meals on your own.
Rules of the trail apply. Riding is group only. This is a working ranch, and all gates are opened and closed by the scouts.
Travel south from Dripping Springs, 290 on RR 12. Go about 6 miles to Gatlin road, which is the road on the side of the ranch. The turn has wrought iron silhouettes in a yard located on RR12. Follow it to the end and take a left and go straight into the back gate. Follow the dirt road and cross the creek following the pavement towards the right and go up the hill.
We will ride in the rain, unless it is lightening. If in doubt, call.

For day riding either Saturday or Sunday the Storm Ranch fee is $25. Limited covered, shaded pens available $10/horse/night.
