Region 8 Lake Proctor Benefit Ride
March 19-21, 2010.
Riders can show up any time after noon on Friday, and can ride on their own Friday afternoon. We will have a group ride Saturday at 9:00am & 2:00pm and Sunday at 9:00am. Each session will be 6 to 10 miles, with the possibility of a faster group and a slower group, with guides for each group.A hamburger lunch will be available for purchase on Saturday, with pot luck meals Friday and Saturday night.The trail is mostly hard-packed dirt or sand, with a small amount of sandstone. A barefoot horse with good feet can handle the trail very well.
Few pens and hookups, horse water, and restrooms.
Cost: Donations to help with and for trails maintenance.

Directions: Between Stephenville and Comanche on US 377/67 at Proctor. Turn north on FM 1436 at the service station. Turn Left at the T intersection of FM 1496 (briefly), then right on CR 1712 the High Point park entrance.
