13th Annual Benefit Ride for SNAP
State Natural Area Partners
Come join us for the famous benefit ride complete with auction.
Registration begins at 5 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016, at the Chapa Group Camp. No need to go to the park HQ to sign in or register. (Cowboy stew supper will be provided from 6 p.m. until gone.)
Registration will commence at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday/Sunday. A current, negative Coggins certificate for each horse must be presented at registration.
Fee: Adults $30, includes breakfast and potluck supper Saturday, and breakfast Sunday morning. Children 12 and under: Free. Day riders: $ 15/Saturday; $10/Sunday
Reservations for sites with electric hookup and horse pens in the barn must be made by calling Debby Alley at 512-517-9476 or email merlyn6453@sbcglobal.net . Please reconfirm any past reservations. Non-potable water is available at the faucet near the barn. Feel free to fill your RV tank and then park. Fee for electric hookup site is $25/weekend (12 available), and for horse pen in the barn is $10/weekend (10 available). Please mail check to TETRA 506 Hidden Oak Elgin, Tx 78621
Breakfast each day will be from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.

Potluck supper on Saturday will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Chapa House. Silent auction after supper. Donations for items for the auction will be appreciated.
Ride out on Saturday will be at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in two groups: Group 1: Gaited horses. Ride Leader: TBA Group 2: Trail horses. Ride Leader: TBA
Morning ride out on Sunday will be at 9:00 a.m. –one group only. Riders may ride out with this group or ride on their own. Ride Leader: TBA
All riders are requested to stay behind the Ride Leader on all group rides.
TETRA rules/trail etiquette must be observed on all TETRA sponsored trail rides. Horses prone to kick must have a red ribbon attached to their tail. Dogs must stay on a leash at all times, either in camp or on the trail. Practice noise discipline in camp, i.e. generators should be muffled; no loud music. Be ready to ride at the set “ride out” time. Make this trail ride enjoyable and safe for everyone by adhering to trail ride rules.
