Granger Lake Work Day
October 9, 2021
We've got a work day scheduled!
Granger Lake Willis Creek Park trails was developed and is maintained by TETRA volunteers. Trails don't just happen, we need your help to keep them up.
Bring your horse or ATV and clippers. Mounted and ground crew will work from 9-12 and 1-4. We will be trimming some of the narrows, with overhanging branches, and dragging brush to clear trails. Bring gloves, loppers, hand clippers. Mounted and pedestrians will be working multiple trail areas. Our trail coordinators will assign locations for work areas. Please plan to arrive on time.
This is a sanctioned TETRA event, a negative COGGINS and a release of liability signed upon arrival at time of check in. ATVs are welcome for work crews.
Lunch will be served at noon. Water will be supplied. 1:00, trail ride as a group or on your own.
Directions: Highway 95, north of Taylor, continue north, past the intersection of HWY 29 at Circleville. Turn on CR 346, go to CR 348, turn right. Continue to the entrance of Willis Creek Park. Through the gate, proceed to the horse parking area, on the right. Overnight primitive camping or camping with hookups is available.
