The Family Festival scheduled for October 8 at Nails Creek State Park, which was to be sponsored by Partners at Nails Creek State Park, HAS BEEN CANCELLED.    Due to the fires in the Bastrop State Park, some of the equipment, facilities and personnel intended for the Festival have been deployed elsewhere.  The event will be rescheduled when lake levels increase to more normal levels and Park equipment and personnel are available.

It’s still a good weekend to ride, though.   In spite of the drought and fire danger, all trails are open.  There will be no hunting in the Park or on the Trailway that weekend making all trails accessible.

The Partners group encourages all equestrians to visit Nails Creek as often as possible.  The trails and facilities are outstanding.
