Region 11 Meeting

The location for our TETRA Region 11 monthly meeting has changed for July.  As we've mentioned before, Gene and Heath Nagelmuellar are willing to open their 180 plus acre ranch, located between Shiner and Gonzales, to TETRA Region 11 for trailrides.  On Saturday, July 13th, we will have a "Meet and Greet" at the Nagelmuellar Ranch about 11:00am.  This is strictly to meet the Nagelmuellar's and discuss plans to get the ranch ready for TETRA Region 11 trailrides.  DO NOT BRING HORSES.  Do bring your lunch, drinks, lawnchairs, and ideas.  Questions can be directed to Dr. Bob Rawson.

 
Directions:  The Nagelmueller Ranch is located between Shiner and Gonzales. 

FROM Shiner Toward Gonzales:
From intersection of US Hwy 90 Alt & Hwy 95
Travel west 1 /10 mile on US Hwy 90 Alt to RR Tracks
Go past RR Tracks 1.9 miles to vet (Shiner Veterinary Clinic)
Go past vet 2.8 miles to FM 364, TURN RIGHT
Travel .6 miles to FM 363, TURN LEFT (FM 363 will take you over a wooden bridge.  It is wide and strong enough for trucks and horsetrailers.)
Travel 2.1 miles to "T" FM 355 (not marked) TURN LEFT
Travel .6 miles to an inset aluminum gate on LEFT, SWING WIDE...
(there is an old barn and cattle pens on right set back off the road)

FROM Gonzales toward Shiner:
From intersection of US Hwy 90 Alt & Hwy 183
Travel east on Us Hwy 90 Alt towards Shiner 14 miles
Turn left onto FM 364... Follow above directions
  
Once you turn left and enter the Nagelmueller Ranch, go a little ways and look to the left to an open field.  Park where you can. 
 
If you miss your turn at FM 363, you can still get there by continuing on FM 364 until you get to FM 355.  (This route loops around and comes out at the intersection of FM 363 and FM 355 which takes you to the Nagelmueller's gate.)  FM 355 has a little "dog leg" to it, passing the intersection with FM 354, then FM 363.  At the intersection with FM 363, stay on FM 355 for .6 mile until you see a gate on the left side of the road and an old broken down barn and pens directly on the right side of the road.  Turn left into the Nagelmueller Ranch.  Go a little ways and look to the left to an open field.  Park where you can.  .
