Newly opened Fall Ranch RideNo wagons, horse back riders only (Spring ride will remain a wagon ride)Guided through 5000 acres of pristine hill country located just outside Austin, between Dripping Springs and Wimberly.Friday evening-Stew till it is gone.Saturday morning-cold cuts and a make your own lunch on the trail-Take your own drinks with you-We will stop on the trail for lunch-but you pack yours in.Saturday evening-Pot Luck-We supply the meat/plates, drinks and you bring your own favorite dishDessert Contest with prizes for the top three desserts-Yum-Yall bring your favoritesSunday morning-On your ownWe will ride out at 9:00am Saturday morning-guided ride, with some ranch history along the way.Lunch out on the trail and return around 3:00PM.Ride out Sunday Morning at 9:00am and return around noon.Ya'll come. The Storm family has invited us to enjoy their familiy ranch. We are really excited. Rules of the trail apply. Riding is group only. This is a working ranch, and all gates are opened and closed by the scouts. Directions-South on RR 12 from 290 in Drippng Springs. Travel south RR 12, about 6 miles. There will be a widening in the road, with a southbound passing lane. Get ready for your turn to the right. It comes immediately as you descend down the hill. The gate is rock and it is a very narrow entry.North from Wimberly on RR 12. Travel north and traverse a bridge, with barriers on each side. The turn is at the base of a hill, and is narrow.
