TETRA has trails rides across the state of Texas, which is the second largest US state with an area of 261,797 square miles, and has 254 counties. Due to the size of our state, TETRA has found it necessary to divide the state into 12 Regions to assure each member is represent no matter if they live in the Panhandle, North Central Texas, the Pineywoods, Gulf Coast, South Texas, Hill Country, or the Big Bend region. We have trails rides almost every month and in the prime riding season, we may two or three rides within a month, however they will be in different region of our state. You do not have to be a member to attend any of our functions, but becoming a member of TETRA helps keep the momentum alive as we work with the Corps of Engineers and Texas Parks to better the riding facilities of Texas.
Each region has a Regional Director who will host trail rides in their region during the year. Besides trail riding TETRA has other regional activities some such as hosting a work day to clean trails of the local equestrian facility, clinics, and meetings. For more information about your region please visit that region's page.
